Computational Biology and Bioinformatics

New Students Primer:


- Who do I ask for help?

- When I have a problem what information do they need to know?

- Your PID/UID
- Your location (building, room, cubical, etc)
- Your workstation name
- Your best description of what is not working for you


- What resources do I have available to me?

- <your own workstation>

(Shared Resource means that before you submit a task, you need to make sure there are resources available to run)


- Is there a disk quota?

Yes, the limit is 20GB on your home directory and no you can't increase it.  If you need more space
you can request for space on /research (or /data if you are in Murali's group)
