Old Instructions (No longer valid)
1. Log into https://admin.cs.vt.edu
2. Click on "My Account"
3. Click on "My Backups"
4. If you have not already set up a backup password, then type in a password and click on "Set Password" Click on "more info" if you want to find out more.
5. Type in a short name that describes your backup in the field named "Create new Backup Fileset". Make sure that you don't use spaces, I also recommend not using any special characters. Examples: windows, laptop, desktop. Then click on "Create Backup"
6. Your backup set should now be listed under "Backup Filesets." This is also where you come to check your backup logs.
