New Students Primer:


- Who do I ask for help?

- When I have a problem what information do they need to know?

- Your PID/UID
- Your location (building, room, cubical, etc)
- Your workstation name
- Your best description of what is not working for you


- What resources do I have available to me?

- <your own workstation>
- bioterm1 - shared resource
- bioterm2 - shared resource
- mnemosyne - shared resource
- mnemosyne2 - shared resource

Yes, the limit is 20GB on your home directory and no you can't increase it.  If you need more space
you can request for space on /research (or /data if you are in Murali's group)


- What machines are allowed on the network?

Only VT owned servers and workstations are allowed on the VT or private GigE networks
