Computer Science faculty, staff, and graduate students get access to a @cs.vt.edu email address. You use your CS username and password to access it through several different ways:
- (preferred method) Set an IMAP client such as Thunderbird or General IMAP settings
- Directly through our web interface https://webmail.cs.vt.edu
- Forward it to another email address here: https://admin.cs.vt.edu/email.pl
Settings
You can set up server side filtering, forwarding, vacation message, and other options on our Intranet site: https://admin.cs.vt.edu/email.pl
Aliases
If it does not conflict with other users, then we can set up email aliases for you. Contact the techstaff to get an email alias.
