This page describes how to mount your CS home directory (as seen on ap1.cs.vt.edu or rlogin.cs.vt.edu) as a drive on your PC.


Windows

  1. Download and install WebDrive software on your PC at https://www.ita.vt.edu/Apps/WebObjects/NetSoftware
  2. Launch WebDrive
  3. Click the "New" button to create a new mapping
  4. Select "SFTP" protocol
  5. Enter your CS username/password and rlogin.cs.vt.edu as the Url/Address
  6. Double click the new SFTP entry to map

Mac

  1. Use macfusion software to map available at http://macfusionapp.org/
  2. Server Address: ssh://username@rlogin.cs.vt.edu replacing username with your CS username
