Connecting to Printers

Windows

  1. Start -> Settings -> Devices
  2. Select printers & Scanners on the left
  3. Add printer or scanner
  4. Wait
  5. Click the new link “the printer that I want isn’t listed”
  6. Add printer using tcp/ip address or hostname
  7. Autodetect
  8. Diamondback.cs.vt.edu

  10. Query the printer and automatically select the driver
  11. Let it use the driver installed or download.
  12. Give it a name (Diamondback or something)
  13. Do not share this printer
